X2759 POINT OF SALE What seems like an absolute age, comes the first all singing all dancing GOOD AGA demo. Forget ya Team Hois, just get this disk. Mega 256,000 colour backdrops, super fast vectors, and sprite scaling (SNES owners take note!!) make this a disk worth blowing the dust of your credit card for, plus more other routines then you could shake a big stick at. X2761 DUAL CREW/SHINING: CHROMAGIC Two AGA music/demos coming within 5 minutes of each other aint bad. Looks like more people are getting dodgy copies of the HRM and learning how to address the new chipset properly. This is a music disk with a nice AGA only swirling ball intro. Written by the ever popular Dual Crew. Containing around 7 good toons for ya all to listen to. X2776(ABCD) COMAX:WORLD OF MANGA A fantastic 4 disk slideshow of Manga Pics. Loads of saucy birds in various states of undress especially for you lucky 1200/4000 owners. Go on buy it and build your right arm muscles up (?????) X2797(ABC) KLONDIKE AGA A fantastic 256 colour version of Klondike (or Patience as most people call it) Given a highly favourable in Amiga Format recently this card game is easy to get into but a complete bugger to finish. 3 different skill levels and the best music module i have ever heard. You can even design your own cards. X2798 TEAM HOI:MIND WARP What's this?? 2 AGA disks together. Things are looking up. Not the best demo ever produced. It doesn't show off the AGA machines that well, only a bit of 256 colour splashed here and there makes the difference. Most of the routines could be done on a normal 500. Bit of a let down really but if you aint got nothing else, this is gonna have to do. X2810(AB) HOLODECK SLIDESHOW From the makers of The Final Frontier Disk Mag comes this amazing collection of Real 3D rendered objects all to do with Star Trek stuff. Enterprise and whatever else you'd associate with the cult series is here. X2825(AB) BODYSHOP 4 More of the same high quality 256 colour pictures of the most loveliest pieces of fan(ahem?). But NOW we do. An excellent addition to any AGA owners massive (sarcastic) demo collection. Loads of swirly bits and bobs, and AGA effects to impress that PC owner you hate. X2833 BLACKBOARD V1.0 BlackBoard is an image processor written specifically for the AGA chipset machines. The system requirements are 2 floppy drives (or a hard drive), and at least a meg of memory. Idealy you should also have a bit more memory and the AGA chipset. The program is formed by a number of diskbased modules which are run as required. This means that almost every aspect of the program can be upgraded and improved without having to rewrite the whole thing. It also means that anyone can write their own add-on modules (e.g. Loaders, Displayers, filters etc.) providing they stick to certain guidelines. BlackBoard can load in pictures. It can manipulate them in a variety of ways, and then it can display them in a number of different display modes as well as saving the picture to disk. X2856(AB) FIT CHICKS 2 Yes more of those wrist aching girlies guaranteed to wet your appetite, (or something else for that matter !!) (Think about it!!) X2862(AB) FIT CHICKS 3 Oh dear. I promise not to make any more crap sex jokes any more. You know what they are so buy em. If you don't...no i won't bother??? X2863(AB) BODYSHOP 5 Aaaaarghhhh. More of em. Women women women. Yes we love em don't we fellas. Pity Jermaine Greer doesn't share the same attitude. You may ask who Jermaine Greer is. X2906 GIF BEAUTIES 10 More dazzling dumb models for you to drool over. X2916(AB) TREASURES OF TUTANKHAMUN A collection of 11, 256 colour pictures for the AGA based machines all centering around the theme of the egyptian kings, the pyramids and lost treasure. The picture quality is absolutely stunning, first class. marvellous. X2918 REDNEX: EMPTY HEAD Nice demo beginning with a huge 3D vector object with a UFO type thingy to light source it. B-splines, Multiple dot tunnels. Realtime picture rotation, 1 pixel plasma and some 10 million dot objects as well. Luverly stuff. X2929 VIVID: ABSTRAX PIG The guys who wrote this seem to be obsessed by real perspective 3D calculated dots. That's just about all this demo has in it. There are some fast rendered colourcycled mandelbrots and a 256 colour picture of a tropical fish tank with some animated fish. An excellent module plays along in the background but there is no groundbreaking stuff to be found here. X2930 XANADU: EXPLICIT II Crap, crap, crap. Please don't buy this. I take no responsibility for putting this one in the library. I'm an innocent man. A crap tunnel effect gets the ball rolling, then onto a scaled rolling box (whoopee) followed by a split 3D vector cube (a 3 year old routine i think) and finally a crap picture with realtime rotation which looks awful. Steer well clear of this one. X2931(AB) SYNTEX: SCAN IS LAME This is more like it. The best quality, most professional, beautiful put together slideshow since Revelations. 2 disks containing 7, 256 colour pictures in Hi-Res with the most amazing quality imaginable. If you own a 1200/4000 then you must get this slideshow. A brilliant Robosaur and 2 birds (women) are just some of the pictures found on here. Awesome. N.B There are a pair of boobs and a women in sussys but nothing too offensive to the weaker sex. X2932 ARISE:SMELLS LIKE CHANEL NO. 5 I can't say what this one is like because it doesn't work on A1200s with a maths copro fitted. But according to Stuart the plophead, its the best AGA demo ever. X2933(AB) COMPLEX: ORIGIN Haven't not seen the previous demo, i must say that THIS is the best AGA demo to date. Starting off with a superb Oddyseyesque intro which is raytraced and some stunning realtime fractal landscapes. The demo takes us on a journey through the eyes of an excellently created 3D vector ED-209 lookalike around a vector world before jumping down a chute and going on a superfast tunnel effect ride. Finishing the demo off is a nice realtime rotated picture and a slightly crap Doomesque world. Which comes nowhere near the standard of the PC. All in all, excellent. X2934 DISKNET: VOLCANO The main feature on here is a 256 colour volcano made up of over 10.000 dots. Very nice. A metal/dance track plays continuously. 8 bitplane bouncing balls, a nice raytrace piccy called Coders Lunch, some nice dot fireworks and other plasma routines all go to make this a reasonable AGA effort. X2935 CHANNEL Z ISSUE 1 The first magazine dedicated solely to the AGA based machines has arrived. Its not brilliant but it does contain some good articles concerning CD32 and other AGA tales. There are some utils on here too including Sysinfo, Degrader amongst others and also an AGA intro. X2936 CHANNEL Z ISSUE 2 The second issue of Channel Z has arrived. Few bits and bats on here including Virus Checker, Ameko AGA, Boulderdash, Killaga and Dcopy + some articles on various issues. X2937 AGA UTILITIES 1 Anim7, Clouds (2.0), GTest, GTest2, Check-AGA (1.0), CycleToMenu (1.10), PPShow (3.0a), Rend24 (1.05), View (3.5), ViewTek (1.04), 24BitPallette, WBVerlauf (1.5), AmigaToNTSC, BBlank, DoubleX, ForceVGA, PKLudge. All based around fantasy/Vallejio type artwork. Very good quality but after all they are only slideshows.!!!!! X2957 JPM'S AGA PICS #7 8 JPEG pictures for all you AGA owners out there. X2958 JPM'S AGA PICS #8 10 JPEG pictures for all you AGA owners out there. All based around Dungeons & Dragons type artwork. Very good quality but after all they are only slideshows.!!!!! X2959 JPM'S AGA PICS #9 13 JPEG pictures for all you AGA owners out there. All based around Dungeons & Dragons type artwork. Very good quality but after all they are only slideshows.!!!!! There's also one of Winona Ryder sneaked on here too. X2964 MAD FIGHTERS 1200 This is a Street Fighter 2 clone which is so horrendously bad i wouldn't spend 5p on it let alone 2 quid. X2969 MEGABALL This is MegaBall AGA, the all-new version 3.0 of a classic Amiga action game! This game comes with two graphics files, one that lets it run on older Amigas (even ones running WB 1.2!), and another that lets it take advantage of dazzling 24-bit AGA graphics if ya got 'em! A few of the exciting new features: - Exploding bricks!! These guys set off in chain reactions and destroy lots of other bricks in loud firey explosions! - New "Dynamite" bonus adds more exploding bricks to a board! - The new graphics, even the non-AGA ones, are much more clear and readable than in previous versions. - All new music, written by Al Mackey with OctaMED Pro! - 24 new colors of bricks (even in non-AGA) make boards 300% more colorful than ever before. - All new boards! - The ball and lasers can now be rendered without the use of hardware sprites. (On some systems, hardware sprites didn't show up!) - Old "background pages" removed. - New hypertext documentation, written in AmigaGuide format. - Customizable music!! - ASL file requesters (when available, otherwise req.library is used). - On AGA systems, ultra-smooth 24-bit fades (looks so COOL!) - Understands a whole range of Workbench versions, from 1.2 to 3.1 and beyond! Only a minimal amount of code is version-specific. - As always, MegaBall appears on a standard intuition screen and continues to let your Amiga multitask, as it should! - The ModeID of the abovementioned screen is now user-settable, for those with special graphics cards, monitors, etc. X2976(AB) HOLODECK 2 Yet again, the creators of The Final Frontier bring to you another collection of trekky based piccys. 21 altogether all rendered in Real 3D V2 (I think) with not a scrap of digitizing in sight. Excellent quality as usual from the Sulu supporters club. X2993 2 PLAYER GAMES The games will run on any machine but if you own a crap old A500 or any without an 020+ in it they will be far too slow. OK then on here, Fatal Blows is a two - player fighting game in which two players will take part in a three round bout. The player which wins best out of three wins - simple as that! Super Spaceball is yet another version of 2 player bat and ball. The object being....oh bollocks to it, you should know already. Anyway, power pills and things appear and that's about it. Super smashing i'll have a bendy bully. X2994 OLLYS AGA-DOO HDToolBox, MagicMenu V1.29, QuickGrab V1.1, ReOrg V2.33, SuperDuper V3.0. X3004(AB) SHAD-ART AGA SLIDESHOW The sequel to disk 2607, two disks of brilliant artwork by D Hoyle. The first disk contains loads of handdrawn 256 pictures of Ferraris. They are of an absolutely stunning quality and well worth a place in any collection. The second disk is filled with Ray-Traced artwork with the likes of the Lego man and some creations done with Imagine. Also theres a nice reset picture of Ivor Biggun. X3014(ABC) INFESTATION: RAY WORLD This demo starts with a silly clock type thing making you think this demo could be really crap. Then onto a nice animated wireframe figure running around the screen. 3D vector world is next on the list. Quite nice. As you would have guessed in a demo called Ray World, there would be plenty of Ray-Traced bits and there is indeedy. Pictures and animations and allsorts. More vector worlds and bits finish this demo off. X3015 NOXIOUS: BEYOND BELIEF This demo is probably not one of the better ones weve had in recently. Dot effects, 16 vector multi-coloured cubes, Cindy Crawford piccy, Brilliant Intel Outside zoom logo thing. More dot effects, pics and scrollers. It all looks like a 1980's demo though. Hard Drive Installable. X3016 FAIRLIGHT: FULL MOON This bugger take 10 minutes to load. Is it worth it. You bet yer great aunt fannys rocking chair it is. Fairlight come up with a cracking demo starting with a great zoom rotation piccy and then onto a doomesque world. Very spooky atmos-pheric toon which jumps into hardcore rave. Saucy piccys splashed here and there as well. Didnt seem to like running on my 6 Meg A1200 with 68881 though. X3020 SWERVE AGA BACKDROPS The images on this disk are all in Maximum Overscan and were produced in 128 colour mode, using 64 colours, leaving an additional 64 colours for additional text and cosmetic effects. X3046(AB) AXIS:BIG TIME SENSUALITY An absolute corker of a demo from Axis. Starts off with a hand drawn animated landscape with realtime zoom rotation and a couple of fantastic raytraced logos. Real AGA 256 colour plasma. Soom more zoom rotated piccys, a couple more normal piccys. One of the best AGA demos to date. All backed up with a brill version of Bjorks Big Time Sensuality and the group who wrote this say its only an INTRO!!!! X3048 VIDEOTRACKER AGA With VideoTracker you can make a videoclip around a SoundTracker-module. You can use pictures, brushes, animations, animation-brushes, palettes, colorcycle, routines, texts, objects, vectorobjects, Amigafonts, karafonts, landscapes, colorsets. When the video is finis-hed, you can save the module and video data as a "Vidule". A vidule is a crunchable executable file which plays the module and the video. You can make a small intro or a big housedemo. You also can use VideoTracker with a GenLock and, for example, make professional movie-titles with colorfonts. When the module plays a sample, VideoTracker shows an "effect" on screen. This effect can by a picture, brush, anim, routine, etcetra. or a combination of these. You can edit for each of the 128 song-positions the 31 samples and use up to 256 effects in a video. All the explained effects are used in the example-videos. **SHAREWARE** X3052 ASSASSINS A1200 FIXES 2 ForceVGA, KillAGA (2.0), RunLame (1.25), RunPal (1.1), ScreenModeChanger, ShutUp, and AGA fixes for JimmyWhitesSnooker, MegaloMania, PowerMonger and RType2. X3054 ASSASSINS MULTIVISION AGA DJPEGGUI (37.1), FastJPEG (1.0), ViewTek (2.0) and datatypes for PCX, MacPaint, ICO, BMP and GIF. X3060(AB) NIGHTBREED AGA SLIDES #3 13 pictures on this slideshow set. All are in 256 colour Hi-Res Lace. There are a variety of weird and wonderful objects on here including racytraced objects and some fractal stuff too. X3069 STEREOSCOPE V2.4a StereoScopic is a package that allows you create 3D Stereograms. What is a Stereogram? A Stereogram is a two dimensional image that has been encoded with a three dimensional picture. Another term for this type of image is SIRDS. SIRDS however use only random dots for their background. The StereoScopic program allows you to use any type of background, including random dots. The technique your mind uses to decode the "hidden" Stereogram is called Wall-Eyed. This is when you focus beyond the surface to see the 3D image. Other types of Stereo-gram viewing techniques, includ CrossEyed and Focus to Infinity. StereoScopic only use the more common method of WallEyed viewing. X3075(AB) BODYSHOP 6 12 pictures of all your favourite luscious hot raunchy birds in stunning 256 colour glory for all you lucky AGA owners out there. X3076(AB) BODYSHOP 7 More hot sauce for all you sad individuals without a bird or for all you sad individuals who have got a bird/wife but don't get a bonk anymore. X3083 CD32>CDROM-GAMES Want to play those CD32 games on your CD-ROM drive? Now you can with this disk of patches to get the following CD's to run: Amiga CD! Magazine (Issue 1&2), James Pond 2, Liberation, Mean Arenas, Overkill & Lunar-C, and Pinball Fantasies. Includes digitized pictures to help fitting of a CD-ROM drive in an A4000. This disk is nonbooting. All files must be accessed via Workbench. X3084 THE_DD>HD_MODIFICATION Got a Power Computing XL (High density) disk drive? Convert it to think normal DD (Double density) disks are HD disks. This disk uses full colour digitized pictures to take you through this easy, and very cheap, electronics project. <17-Bit and the disk author take no responsibility for users pranging their hardware. Be warned> X3101 HOI AGA REMIX A fantastic 256 colour platform game. This game was originally commercial but has now been thrown into the PD circuit for certain reasons. The object is to jump around collecting the jewels and reach the exit without getting killed by the nastys. The gfx and pallettes are excellent and the sound is amazing. If you got a 1200 then get this now. If you got a 4000 then dont bother cause it don't work very well. X3104 COMPLEX: REAL Superb AGA production from the group that brought you Origin. One of the best fonts i have ever seen is used in the introduction, and a stunning never been seen before texture mapped cube tunnel effect is first on the list. Various other texture mapped objects fly around and texture mapped tunnel leading into a 3D vector world concludes the show. X3118(AB) CHANNEL Z #5 Issue 5 of this popular disk mag opens with a fantastic sample which im sure you will all want to nick. As usual, this two disk set is filled with news, articles, utilities, pictures, music and a demo all of which are AGA related. You know what its like so buy it NOW. X3127 POLKA BROTHERS:FRIDAY AT 8 AGA Another AGA demo this time from Polka Bros. On this one we start off with a nice tunnel effect (As we do on most demos nowadays!!) Some B Splines, and a super fast spinning picture effect. Various other routines are splashed here and there with some great effects. Uses the 256 colour pallete in various places. Also this demo is Harddrive installable AND you can drop to DOS from it. Brilliant. X3142 CRYPTOBURNERS: BRAIN STATE IN A BOX AGA A bit awkward to describe. Its an AGA demo and its very good. But er...er. Its got tons of colours doing different things. I know my description is shite but please buy it as its very very good. Would i lie to you??? ** 3mb req ** X3147(AB) CYBERTECH CORP This is the best, most proffesional looking PD game ever produced. Although it is a complete and utter blatant rip off of Alien Breed II AGA. The intro, the music the graphics and the coding are all first class. Basically the game IS Alien Breed. Cant afford the full price AB. Walk round the ship, collecting the keys, and the credits to buy more weapons. Shoot the aliens and try to perform the tasks which are given to you at the start of each level. A real winner X3152 DEEP 9 JPEG space pictures......Booooringgggg. X3153 DEEPER 9 JPEG space pictures......Booooringgggg. X3168(AB) CINDY CRAWFORD COLLECTION AGA 12 pictures of this luscious babe in glorious 256 colour for you to drool over. GIF format. X3169(AB) CINDY CRAWFORD COLLECTION 2 AGA 12 more pictures of the super fab sexy Ms Crawford in various states of undress. All are in 256 colour GIF format. X3170(AB) BORIS VALLEJIO COLLECTION AGA Only 6 pictures spanning these 2 disks but they are all absolutely stunning. Boris is probably one of the best fantasy artists in the world and these pictures prove the point. All are in 256 colours and are literally mind blowing. X3175(ABC) KLONDIKE 2 AGA Version 2 of this brilliant AGA card game. This updated release includes 2 brand new cardsets. The ability to load 20 different cardsets and 20 different pieces of music. 4 screen modes are available. Menu bar is now on the game screen allowing you to execute all these functions from there. The three levels of play are still incorporated also. Basically this is a very very souped up version of Patience. If you have an AGA machine and a hard drive (cause ya need one), then get this. ** Hard drive required ** X3176(AB) RED DWARF SLIDES AGA A treat for all you RD fans out there. Nine pictures on these two disks, all in 256 colour IFF format. There are piccys of all the main cast members including Lister, Rimmer, Cat, Hollies, Kryten and the rest of them. And a nice RD theme tune plays in the background. X3178(ABC) TREASURES OF TUTANKHAMUN 2 The second set of pictures dedicated to King Tut. The first set (Disk Nos 2916AB) Continuing the theme of lost treasure, egyptian kings and pyramids (sounds familiar doesn't it!!!!). There are around 20 pictures spanning the two disks because they are all in JPEG format. There is very little loss in picture quality. A superb educational tool and an excellent follow to an already excellent set of disks. X3181 MORPHY THE MAGICIAN AGA The latest and first offering from Mr Eric Schwartz in 1994. A bit short this one though. It needs an AGA machine with at least 4 MB RAM and a Hard Drive. (Not asking much is he?) A short anim of a magician with an audience of one. I cant really describe it any other way. If you like anims in general or you are a diehard Scwartz fan, then this is a must. ** 4Mb Ram & Hard drive req ** X3184(ABC) MAD FIGHTER 2 AGA The follow up to the most popular PD fighting game EVER. Personally i hate this kind of game. (I hate all games with the odd exception of one or two.) Anyway, its a one one fighting game. There are masses of players to choose from and literally dozens of moves to master. If you like fighting games and have an AGA machine then this is probably gonna be your best bet. (Although you can now buy Body Blows for around a tenner.) X3188(AB) MASQUERADE A strange puzzle type game where the object is to collect all the diamonds without destroying any of them by triggering off explosions. Explosions can be made by dropping barrels etc on the diamonds. There are ten levels in all and the puzzles should keep anyone with half a brain going for quite a while. X3193 RAM JAM:IT CANT BE DONE Nice demo starting of with a nicked effect from the Fairlight 242 demo. Then onto a screen with some bad language (cant be helped im afraid) and then moving swiftly on to a 6 sided texture mapped object. Each side has a different map. Good stuff. There are 2 fast moving texture mapped citys and some more swirly colours and stuff before finally displaying a screen of more bad language. Like it or loathe it. X3194 NGC:ARTIFICIAL PARADISE A stunning opening picture of an evil court jester. Then scrolling landscape in full screen and a nice smear effect logo. Some nice line effects follow and then a ride down an unoriginal multicoloured dot tunnel. 3D spinning cube with different texture on each side then a ride on a VERY original texture mapped tunnel. Ending with a nice `control the scrolltext' part. X3207 JPM'S AGA PICTURES #10 Only 4 pictures on here, but they are all extremely high quality. All in GIF format. X3208 POLKA BROS: GEVALIA Polka Bros are excellent at coming up with their own unique style of demos: intense, humorous, always fresh with new effects, tied in perfectly with a fast and funky soundtrack. Gevalia is no exception. On the menu we have: abstract vector patterns a cartoon crocodile, a very strange stylised animation, a twisty cube-within-a-cube, a delicious new swirly pattern routine, a picture, a super speedy tunnel sequence, the credits and an abrupt end. Superb stuff. X3209 POLKA BROS: NO NAME Another good demo from PB. Opens up with a nice plasma routine and then onto some kind of spinny thing, following a nice hand drawn piccy of an Indian. Then onto a weird pink, green and blue tunnel effecr before finally ending with some super fast effects. X3210(AB) FAIRLIGHT: LOVE Starts with a very promising soundtrack followed by a complicated spinning vector `Love' logo. A rather sick picture of Marilyn Monroe appears and swiftly onto a texture mapped jelly cube. Another `Love' logo, this time its raytraced with some spinny balls, and finishing off with some morphing dot effects, zoom rotated fractals and a stunning Fairlight logo. X3211 REDNEX: QUACKBUSTED II A very short demo this one but with some good effects. Guitar music kicks in first of all. Jelly vectors, Tunnel effects, 80 spinnng cubes on same screen and AGA plasma effects. X3221 BAZZA AND RUNT Gorgeous colourful gfx, sound effects and music, add atmosphere to a very proffessional AGA platform game. Destroy all the baddys, collect the fruit and letters to reach the next level. A cross between Bubble Bobble and a stack of other platformers. **Very highly recommended** **Shareware** X3227 EVIL INSECTS The objective of the game is to kill insects. To do this you have a gun, but with this gun you can't kill those insects directly. You'll have to shoot at the ceiling, from which a magic stone will fall. This magic stone is able to kill an insect. When you fire your gun, the main character will aim at the ceiling with an angle of about 45 degrees. This means that you can't aim yourself. The following figure will show you what happpens when you shoot. It's kinda hard to explain but it works fine, just check out the game & you'll soon be familiar with the principle. X3231 ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE 2 Here it is...one of the goriest games of all time. This Operation Wolf style game has you wasting zombies with guns, grenades, and missles. Major violence, death, and gore. It will use all the games which work with the other Spectrum Emulator. X3352 SOME JUSTICE 94 Yes mister, I'll take two please! This is the best demo of Summer '94! It's a sound and vision extravaganza, with the best soundtrack ever to grace an Amiga demo. Released to promote a new EP from Urban Shakedown, it's a remix of Some Justice, the hardcore anthem of 1992, produced by Urban Shakers themselves, and reworked into a colossal bassheavy jungle stomper. Stick this through a decent hi-fi and you won't believe it! **2.5 Mb Req ** X3366 ROKETZ V1.0 Rocketz is a 2 player multi directionally scrolling split-screen shootemup racing game similar in concept to a combined version of thrust and asteroids. OK X3382 WORKBENCH 3 BACKDROPS 79, 16 colour backdrops for AGA machines. X3389(AB) JINX JINX (AGA) is an innovative 25 level, diamond collecting puzzle game, incorporating superb graphics and original sound fx. With amusing storyline and end sequence and save game option. It is a sort of follow up to Masqurade (Disk X3188(AB)). To put it anoter way it is bloody surrealism at it's best! The best way that I can describe this game is that it is like a cross between Head Over Heels on the spectrum, and Valhalla on the Amiga! Any way to put it more simply you have to guide both Jest type Characters to the exit (easier said than done, believe me)! X3397(ABCD) KLONDIKE 3 The latest version of this now classic AGA card game. This version has a few minor bug fixes but also contains ShowReko - a utility to show all the cards in a set and a Reko cardset creator. ** Hard drive required ** X3415 VIDEOTRACKER V2.0 With VideoTracker you can make a videoclip around a module. You can use pictures, brushes, animations, animationbrushes, palettes, colorcycle, routines, texts, objects, vectorobjects, Amigafonts, karafonts, landscapes, colorsets. When the video is finished, you can save the module and video data as a "Vidule". A vidule is a crunchable executable file which plays the module and the video. You can make a small intro or a big housedemo. You also can use VideoTracker with a GenLock and, for example, make professional movietitles with colorfonts. X3431(ABC) CLAUDIA SCHIFFER AGA Three disks full of AGA pics of this stunning bird. X3438 FAST CARS CARDSET Another Klondyke Cardset. This time of Porsches and Lamborghinis etc etc. ** Requires Klondyke 2 or 3 ** X3456 256 COLOUR ICONS Loads of 256 colour icons for you to use on WB3, Some saucy girly icons on here too!!!! X3461(ABC) THE WEATHER GUIDE How much do you understand of the physical processes which affect and shape the weather? Would you know when a front is passing overhead, how does a lighting bolt travel, upwards or downwards? Why do we never ever have hurricanes in Britain? The 3 disk educational title takes the subject of meteorology and explain it in a easy to understand manner. Written in Hyperbook, it is an excellent learning tool. X3496(AB) REBELS: SWITCHBACK Superb AGA demo, one of the best ones we've had. Loads of nice effects and swirly colours and stuff like that. X3508(AB) OXYGENE: INDIGO Reasonable demo. Contains a very decent rotating city (mind you the text presented on top is nothing special), a basic doom sequence which zapppps into something much, much better, a picture warped and bounced, morphing flame objects, some decent shape animations and finally, a fairly well drawn tunnel sequence. X3509 APEX:DOTSY This demo has a Melon Design feel to it: Cute, colourful etc. Check out the scroller on the vector-dot landscape! X3510(AB) SILENTS: SOUL KITCHEN A stunning AGA demo with tons of new features. Excellent as always from Silents. X3511(ABC) REBELS: WHAMMER SLAMMER Rebels come up with a corker of a 3 disk AGA demo. The routines are unbelievable and the soundtrack is a stonker. X3512 SANITY: ROOTS This contains a decent soundtrack which is complemented by a good demo overall. First off are a number of warping pictures, a great still drawing, a selection of different landscape routines, 3D dot animations that morph and rotate (very good) and more plasma warps. X3513(AB) POLKA BROS: THE PREY Brilliant new 2 disker from Polka Brothers. X3514(AB) BOMB: MOTION ORIGIN 2 This demo starts with a decent tunneldoom type sequence with rotating vectors within the "ceiling" and "floor". An excellent start leads to a landscape rotation (in four colours but very fast), realtime movement throughout a vast room: 360 degrees movement with vectors appearing from the floor and a huge "snake spiral" (remember those springspiral toys that used to bounce down your stairs!) that moves within the room. After this the fourcolour landscape rountine from earlier transforms into the same routine but in 16-colours. The "WOW!" factor is now enabled as we enter a scene with a large morphing animation in the background with another morphing anim in the foreground. If all the above wasn't enough to make this one of the best demos of alltime we now enter the VERY BEST DOOM ARENA EVER!!! The demo moves very quickly around a doom atmosphere which has the most detail ever: it even has well drawn pictures on the walls. The final part of the demo is the best so far! You can ENTER THE DOOM WORLD YOURSELF and move around using the mouse. Walk up steps and more. Get this now! ** Fast ram required to see the doom arena ** X3515 ANDROMEDA: NEXUS 7 Starts with a rotating "milkyway" visual set and leads into the quickest landscape rotation yet! All the routines in this demo are short but very powerful. This is how they should be. A set of fire designed vector objects are then present on the screen (hard to describe!) which lead to a final vector which contains a number of holes that allow light to escape in beams. These light beams have to be seen. The demo presents more interesting features such as shade-clusters that are unique, motion blurred 256-colour picture, a bouncing ball with a difference, plasma zoom and a 3D ray-traced scroller. The best part of this demo is the superb raytraced environment which contains a beautiful smooth lamp animtion that bounces its way throughout this environment: up the stairs, across vast spaces and more! X3516(ABCD) POLKA BROS: TWISTED And another demo from Polka Brothers. X3517(ABCD) OXYRON: KILLING TIME Oxyron's first ever Amiga demo, so when I read this I thought "well it may be reasonable then". I was wrong. Firstly, they present us their "Rot-Zoomer" which consists of a 4096 colour, fast, full-screen image which then transforms into a negative version. We are then treated to a 3D texture labyrinth which contains pictures on the wall which animate as you move past them. The demo then leads into a realtime texture city (very fast), next IFS fractals, mutating line vectors with 812 lines, more textured vectors in 4096 colours, texture morphing and a texture tunnel. Impressive for their first Amiga demo! X3526 VIPER Viper is an AGA only snake game but with a twist. It allows up to 6 computer and human controled players and is unique in that you can travel in any direction (face any angle). Included is a statistics program to manage tournaments for you. This is the shareware version which has only 3 players and the tournament does not save. Registered for only $12. X3592 JPEGAGA V2.1 jpegAGA is at this time, the highest quality JPEG viewer (if a map-file for that picture is available) To use it you need the AGA chipset, a 68020 or higher processor and OS 3.0 or higher. This program uses the HAM8-mode, gray-scale display will use 256-color-mode. Although jpegAGA 2.1 has many new features it is still fully compatible to the previous versions. The advantages of jpegAGA: - very high quality (better than other viewer) - complete source is available - best compatibility to all JPEG pictures because the unmodified JPEG source from the Independent JPEG group is used for decoding (jpegAGA 2.0 uses version 5A) - high speed gained by using the GNU C compiler and the 24-bit-RGB to HAM8 converter written directly in assembly language - support for grayscale JPEG's and for showing color pictures in grayscale format - automatic screen mode selection, depending on the size of the picture - pictures can be shown at reduced size, useful for high speed previews - they can be scaled automatically to fit completely on your screen - when more than one picture is selected jpegAGA will load and decode the next picture in the background while you are still looking at the previous one. X3604 BEGINNERS GUIDE TO WB3.0 An absolutely SUPERB tutorial and learning package for anyone who is having problems getting to grips with Workbench 3.0. X4244(ABCDEFGH) WILD FIRE V2.96 (8 DISKS) Wildfire is not only another brandnew image-processing-program - it's a professional animation-processor with some really new concepts. It allows you for example the creation and processing of animations in several formats, the generation of time-dependant specialeffects and the design of large projects containing several animations and frame-synchronized soundeffects. One of the outstanding features of Wildfire is the fact that it makes for you no difference if you apply changes to a whole animation or if you process only one image. A single image is only a very special case of an animation. In contrary to common image-processors you can use envelopes instead of plain numbers as effectparameters. This makes the easy creation of timedependant specialeffects possible. All of the numerous effects can be arranged in any number and combination. Because the output of any of these effects can be one of the 8 temporybuffers Wildfire allows you to PROGRAM IMAGES in an comfortable way ! -fast and comfortable Converter: input: YAFA, ANIM5/7/8, mpeg, imagesequences output: YAFA, ANIM5/7/8, imagesequences -Preview for almost any operation -Project-Editor which allows the creation of large and complicated projects easily using the mouse -Effect-Generator featuring time-dependant parameters via envelopes -a stunning library of effect-PlugIns -some really new effects, real 3D-effects, lightsources -superposition of 3D-effects (PowerPlugs!) -(un)loading of PlugIns at any time -Envelope-Editor -Timecodes-Editor -Transition-Maker for easy creation of transitions between two animations -easy-to-use Player-interface -Filmstrips to simplify the perfect timimg of huge projects -AnimInfo-function displaying size-profiles etc. -fontsensitive GUI without MUI -internal gadget-toolbox which handles mathematical expressions -calculator which allows for example the export of user-defined symbols -ARexx-port with about 400 commands -macros, custom-windows, docks -import of images from other programs -Developer-Kit (working example) allows you to create effect-PlugIns. *** Requires: hard disk, 68020, aga chipset, 2mb fast ram, os3.0+ *** *** FPU and non fpu version available state wich you require) *** X4248 ZERO GRAVITY Zero Gravity is a tunnel racing game written in 100% assembly for AGA This freeware game is brought to you by Matthijs Hollemans, 1997 who has successfully rivalled the play station with this game! If we decide to go ahead with setting up QUARTZ GAMES (the new games production side of Quartz) The guy who produced the anims will probably be doing the animations in our 1st Comercial Game! X4397 HD CLICK V3.00 HDClick is a program-selector/HD-menu. With HDClick, programs can be started very easily by selecting gadgets with your mouse. You can choose between a Screen or only a small window on the Workbench. HDClick also has an AppIcon and AppWindowfunction that make it possible to easily view pictures, texts or decrunch files by dragging Icons on the AppIcon/AppWindow. HDClick can be used as a Workbench-enhancement to launch programs more quickly than from the Workbench; As a Bootmenu to choose between several startup-sequences and/or programs; As a diskmagazine-program which perhaps doesn't look as nice but is easier to create with HDClick than with other, uncomfortable programs; "A gadget for every useful function"! HDClick can replace many tasks that otherwise would have to be done with Shell. Advantages of HDClick over similar programs:- * HDClick is very easy to configure. Gadgets that start programs can be created very fast. * HDClick opens a Screen full of gadgets. This leaves plenty of space for other things your Workbench. No flipping and searching between hundreds of windows on your WB - just press the Hotkey and HDClick's screen pops to the front. * With the Quickstart Tutorial and many included example-configs HDClick can be used immediately without having to learn much. * HDClick has a good and understandable documentation that beginners will be able to follow. With many examples ! * HDClick can be designed the way you want with or without graphics etc. The screenresolution and number of colors can be adjusted. With the iconify-function additional memory can be saved when launching programs. HDClick can be uniconified very fast. * You can also use HDClick as a small Window on your Workbench. It's possible to switch between several "icon-banks" very quickly. * Because switching between several configfiles/gadget-groups is very fast, an endless amount of gadgets/programs can be reached immediately, much faster than going through drawers on your HD with Workbench. Well, Match is a simple little mind game, if you don't mind, neither do I! A little joke there! Anyway, Match IS a mind game (You have to remember stuff). The idea is simple. All you do, is to match, hence the name, the different picture cards, to each other. You get, two of each picture card, and you have to match a card with another one the same! It is basically, like 'snap'. Sort of?! You'll see what I mean! So then, what else? Well, It's got nice sound effects, sampled speech, and some nice graphics! Features: (yoiu must see this disk, who said the amiga is no good for games? not me!) * full texture-mapping/light-sourcing/gouraudshading 3d gfx engine in 1x1 full-screen directly coded onto the planar architecture of the aga chipset (no stupid chunky routines, no stupid chunky-to-planar conversion required) for the maximum of the speed, capable of very very smooth animation even on slow 25MHz 020/030 Amigas (if you own a 060, it`ll even better, of course) * First-person perspective improved by the VirtuaCockpit(tm) feature, your car`s cockpit is not prepainted, it`s real time rendered in full 3d, allowing for driver`s head motion simulation * Realistic Car Simulation, obtained by realtime integration of the differential equation system of the mathematical model of a real f1 car (no euristic algorithms used, you`ll not see an out-run clone), allowing for realistic car set-up sessions with lots of controls to play with (tires, tires pressure, tires camber, shocks, spoilers, engine ROM mapping, etc.) * 40 sec. of Instant Replay to see crashes, tailheads etc. with Fast Forward and Still Motion features * Pseudo-Intelligent Opponents to make the game even more realistic - race tire-against-tire with the best F1 Drivers!!! X4420 TORQUE Pure and simply this is a Uridium clone. It's not a straight conversion, doing it that way but what a waste of the Amiga that would be. Well this is what the author had to say:- It's true, there are many other icon-packages, but at the moment I had installed my CyberVision64 graphic card and changed my Workbench up to 256 colors, I couldn't inspect, why icons should only have eight or sixteen Colors. Well, until now I couldn't find a reasonable answer, so I begann to create my own palette for icons with more colors. For the first 8 colors I've taken the Magic-Workbench colors, the next eight colors are taken from the enhanced ROM-Icons. The rest is filled with picked colors from a Palette I've found sometimes, named Magician (never seen icons, which use this palette ;-) ). To support a function called "NO BOARDERS" of the NewIcons V3-package, I used color 0 only for background. So you can use Magic-Workbench, RomIcon, NewIcon Icons and at the same time this 64 Color-Icons. X4429 TEXTURE JPEGS #1 Some nice full colour JPEGS suitable for use in DTP, Video Tilting, convert them for use on your backdrops, or just load them into a paint package.. X4441(ABCD) WILDFIRE V3.82 Wildfire - where dreams become virtuality. A Special Effect Program and much more! Wildfire is not only another brandnew imageprocessingprogram - it's a professional animationprocessor with some really new concepts. It allows you for example the creation and processing of animations in several formats, the generation of timedependant specialeffects and the design of large projects containing several animations and frame-synchronized sound-effects. Because the common animation-formats on the Amiga have too many lacks or restrictions we have tried to create a better one: YAFA. This animation-format for example features many compression-methods and realtime-zooming. One of the outstanding features of Wildfire is the fact that it makes for you no difference if you apply changes to a whole animation or if you process only one image. A single image is only a very special case of an animation. In contrary to common image-processors you can use envelopes instead of plain numbers as effect-parameters. This makes the creation of complicated time-dependant special-effects very easy. So you haven't to fight against the "do"-loops in an ARexx-script to get an animation outside your image-processor any more. All of the numerous effects can be arranged in any number and combination. Because the output of any of these effects can be one of the 8 "flat" or 4 3D-temp-buffers Wildfire allows you to perform "impossible" operations easily and in a very comfortable way! These 4 disks contain the main program and example "plug-ins" files for macines with normal 68020 CPUs or better, and also vesions for machines with 68881/2 co-processors. Main Features:- -fast and comfortable Converter: input: YAFA, ANIM5/7/8, mpeg, image- sequences output: YAFA, ANIM5/7/8, image-sequences -preview for almost any operation (including realtime) -Project-Editor which allows the creation of large and complicated projects easily using the mouse -effect-generator featuring time-dependant parameters via envelopes -a stunning library of effect-PlugIns (about 80) -some really unique effects -3D-engine with multiple lightsources and phong-shading -superposition of 3D-effects (PowerPlugs!) -superposition of Lightwave-objects and images in the threedimensional space -(un)loading of PlugIns at any time -Envelope-Editor -Timecodes-Editor -Transition-Maker for easy creation of transitions between two animations -easy-to-use Player-interface -Filmstrips to simplify the perfect timimg of huge projects -AnimInfo-function displaying size-profiles etc. -fontsensitive GUI without MUI -internal gadget-toolbox which handles mathematical expressions instead of only plain numbers -calculator which allows for example the export of user-defined symbols to the gadgets in the whole-program -Drag&Go (using drag.gadget 1.0 beta Copyright ©1997 Jörg Kollmann, see bonus drawer!) -ARexx-port with about 400 commands -macros, custom-windows, docks -import of images from other programs -Developer-Kit which allows you to create your own effect-PlugIns - + MUCH + MUCH ++ MORE!!!
